Crab cakes, blue crab soup, hot crab dip, steamed crabs; that’s Maryland. Yes, there is also Ocean City, which everyone knows and loves for their wide beaches and long boardwalks, but let’s keep talking about the stuff that makes my mouth water… CRABS.

The diamonds of the East Coast, aka Maryland Blue Crabs, bring thousands of people every summer flocking to the Chesapeake Bay and coastal regions of Maryland. The primary way to eat these beauties? Order a bushel of red steaming crabs covered in crab seasoning, take them out of the bucket and crack them open to find their sweet delicate meat. Don’t forget to lick your fingers! That’s where the magic happens.
